At Companion Air we are committed to protecting the privacy or our customers. We do not distribute any information provided to us to anyone outside of Companion Air and we use it in our Company only for the purpose for which it was provided and for analyses of general customer trends. The following describes our information gathering and usage practices for companionair.com.
Ticketing and Reservations
We collect information about all travelers (Pet and People) during our reservation and ticketing processes. That information is used to issue travel documents, to provide information on schedules, requirements and policies, to plan aircraft configurations, and to identify travelers at embarkation. This information is protected by secure servers and is not shared with anyone outside Companion Air.
Billing & Purchasing Information
When you purchase travel or Companion Air Ware, we collect billing information (name, address, phone number, email address, credit card number and expiration dates) which is processed on secure servers and is shared only with the financial institution that processes the payments. Otherwise, none of this information is shared with or sold to anyone else.
Mailing List Information & Email Addresses
When you sign up for our mail list or other promotional offers, we collect information on your location, travel plans, pets, how you heard of us, and other comments. We use this information to plan our routes, marketing campaigns and other services. With your expressed permission, we will use your comments as testimonials and will only disclose your first name, last initial, city and state. We also use our mail list to send newsletters, announcements and notices of special offers. You can unsubscribe from our mail list at any time.
Security
Our site has security measures in place to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of collected information.
Links to Other Site
Our site contains links to other sites but we do not pass on any personal information to those linked partners except where you explicitly request for us to procure a product or service in your name. In those cases, we only pass on the information necessary to procure those requested products or services. Companion Air is not responsible for the privacy policies, practices, products or services of those other sites.
Policy Changes
Companion Air may revise this policy at anytime and if we make a material change to our policy, we will post a notice and the new policy on this page.
